Vintage Fishing Tackle provides a service to enable you to sell your fishing tackle, hassle and stress free! Simply allow Vintage Fishing Tackle to do all the hard work for you.
Vintage Fishing Tackle is able to purchase and/or valuate large collections, with the option of either a direct sale to Vintage Fishing Tackle or selling through Vintage Fishing Tackle (see Sales-For-You for more information on this service). This service may include home visits upon request or recommendation.
Get in contact with the items you wish to sell. Explain your expectations and we’ll discuss appropriate pricings and timings suitable for the item.
After an agreement has been reached: you send your items to Vintage Fishing Tackle HQ (please note; this is at your cost). For larger collections, pick-up may be possible. At this point the item is fully insured.
Vintage Fishing Tackle then inspects the items, ensuring all items are in the best possible condition for sale. At this point, we can make recommendations for repairs and adjustments if necessary. Please note; there may be an additional charge for this service.
You will then receive a contract personalised to you and your item outlining all fees and sales expectations.
Once the contract is signed and returned the item is then photographed and listed on the website with an in depth description.
When the item is sold, it is packaged and posted (fully insured) to the buyer. The buyer then has 7 days to return the item (as following Vintage Fishing Tackle’s Return Policy).
Once the 7 day return period has passed, you will receive the amount previously agreed.
Vintage Fishing Tackle reserves the right for the Sales-For-You service to be the only sales opportunity for the item for a minimum of 90 days (unless otherwise agreed).
The fee for the Sales-For-You service provided by Vintage Fishing Tackle is 20% of the final selling price. Fees may be negotiable for larger collections. Items sold through the Sales-For-You service must have a minimum selling price of £200 (unless otherwise agreed).
When posting the items to Vintage Fishing Tackle HQ it is your responsibility to cover the costs of postage and insurance.
Where repairs are required, it is expected that you pay the charges of these. Please note – Vintage Fishing Tackle will not carry out any repairs unless agreed to and paid for by you.

Vintage Fishing Tackle guarantees a personal and bespoke Sales-For-You service. Vintage Fishing Tackle ensures top quality photographs and descriptions specifically written for each item. We are available for contact through email and phone, allowing for personal dialogue between the item’s owner and Vintage Fishing Tackle.
Returns Policy –If you are not entirely happy with your purchase you can return your item/s within 7 days of delivery, for a full refund of the original payment. The item/s must be returned with adequate postal insurance and signature required delivery. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the item/s are returned with suitable packaging and to have proof of postage/delivery.
Once we have received the product(s) a refund will be credited to the original payment method within 1 weeks. Please note that it may take up to 14 days for your bank to credit your account. We are not liable, and cannot take responsibility for, any bank charges that you may incur during the refund process.
