In very good condition and well looked after and stored correctly, with crimson silk whippings with bronze intermediates, agate guide ring with low-bell rings throughout, nicely shaped smooth cork handle, nice tight suction ferrule joints, with no sets or ticks and complete with a good quality rod bag.

This is one of a collection of Foster’s split cane fly rods we have taken in, most of which I never have seen before, but only read about in Foster’s catalogues.
