The foundation of these knives is a variation of Spyderco’s best-selling Native 5 folding knife that features an ultra-corrosion-resistant LC200N blade and a handle precision machined from aircraft-quality aluminum. Once Spyderco’s manufacturing processes are complete, the handle components are sent to Abel Reels’ team of artists who meticulously hand paint them with special chemical dyes to create photorealistic patterns of popular game fish. Their incredibly painstaking multi-stage anodizing process takes many hours and, because it is entirely done by hand, makes every pattern a one-of-a-kind work of art.

These heirloom-quality knives are 100% American-made and will be sold exclusively through Abel Reels’ sales channels. They proudly showcase Abel’s Bonefish, Native Brown Trout, and Native Rainbow Trout artwork patterns.
