In very good condition for its age and complete with a smooth cork handle with an unlocking alloy screwthread reel seat, burgundy silk whippings with tight whipped intermediates, tight suction ferrule joints, nice and straight with NO sets or ticks, this is a beautiful rod that has a superb action and great feel about it. Complete with its original rod bag.

If you are a collector or B James rods for coarse fishing, then this rod may be for you, if you want to surface fish for carp, etc, and want a traditional rod to do it.

This is one of several rods that I purchased from the same gentleman, over the years he has taken great pride in all of his rods and reels and always stored his rods correctly, in addition to this he always had his rods “looked over” and refurbished by someone that clearly has a talent for making rods look beautiful and bringing them back to their once former glory.
