In very good condition, having been only lightly used and very well cared for. The rod is full length, completely straight with tight suction ferrule joints, and remains 100% original. Fitted with a smooth cork handle, agate butt ring with snake guides throughout, black silk whippings tipped with red, and complete with its original Hardy rod bag,which is in good condition.

The Phantom series was introduced by Hardy in the early 1960s as a refined development of their celebrated C.C. de France models. Built from the finest Palakona split cane, the Phantom offered a lighter, more responsive action, making it particularly suited to dry fly and delicate trout work, while still retaining Hardy’s trademark strength and durability. Its elegant black whippings with red tipping and premium fittings underline its status as one of Hardy’s most attractive cane rods.
