Fred Crouch has kindly allowed Sharpe’s to reproduce his favourite rod, the barbel perfection. The rod is an 11ft 6 in three piece with detachable  cork handle, with knurled alloy reel slides, chrome low-bell rings throughout with dark green whippings and finished in a silky smooth varnish.

There is not much to say about these famous rods that hasn’t already been said before. Such was their popularity amongst anglers, every rod building manufacturer of the time brought out their own version of the Barbel Perfection and it is still being offered today by modern rod builders.
