In very good condition and in full working order, The original design was by Charles W. Hossom of Westport, Connecticut with design alterations by Larry Kennedy and Mike Vaughn of The Bedford Sportsman (TBS). About 500 reels were made in clear anodised aluminium and distributed by H.L. Leonard Rod Co. and The Bedford Sportsman. The first 200 reels bore Hossom’s initials on the backplate “CWH”. c.1975, Bedford Hills, New York.Size: 3,5 in diameter, 1,5 in. wide, weight 314 grams, the small lever on the back when lifted and turned puts the reel into free spool, which makes letting line out very simple.
