Originally created in 2005, the Rush Series reels quickly earned a following among discerning anglers. The Galvan family listened to feedback from anglers around the world and in 2012 reduced the Rush’s weight and modified its look, giving it some of the features of the revered OB reel. They altered the porting pattern on the spool face and opened up the back of the frame to showcase Galvan’s recognizable, open back, tri-spoke design. These changes reduced the weight, sharpened the appearance, and maintained the rugged durability the original Rush Series reels are valued for.
