Description
We are privileged to be given the opportunity to be able to offer for sale these beautifully made split cane rods by Jeroen. These rods are some of the finest we have seen and we are honored that Jeroen would like to work with us and offer them to our customers here at Vintage Fishing Tackle.
The rods are based on the same type of taper, progressive light tipped rods, that respond directly to your casting with a light swelled butt that gives that little extra accuracy.
All the cane that is used is heat-treated during the building process. Cosmetics can be executed in a blond or a flamed finish, giving the blank rich and deep dark shades.
Fitted with high-quality nickel silver ferrules and lightweight guides, the reel seats are made from top-quality figured woods such as maple or black ash, with simple and elegant nickel silver slide bands.
The look of these rods is clean and elegant and all are whipped with Pearsall’s pure silk, varnished to a transparent finish with a thin black tipping, making the cane’s appearance visible throughout the whole length of the rod, a fine shaped cork handle to complete an elegant feel.
This rod is new and unused, 7′6″ #4 two-piece (two tips) and complete with a good quality rod bag and alloy travel tube.
