Description
In superb condition, as it has been beautifully restored by one of England’s finest rod builders, complete with a flamed whole cane butt section and two tips, one is spliced with split cane and the other with greenheart, agate butt ring with stand-off rings throughout, black silk whippings, tight suction ferrule joints, and original fitted rod bag (which is a tatty)
The rod was presented by the News of the World newspaper on the 15th October 1936 for a record dace weighing 1lb1oz to L Whiting…Making this rod a super piece of angling history.
